Welcome to Greece! On arrival at Athens Airport, you will be met and transferred by our local representative to your hotel. Check into your hotel by 1500hrs. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Tonight, enjoy Athens by Night tour (Operating days: Tue/Wed/Thu/Sat). Your evening begins with a short panoramic drive through the city centre. Then a pleasant walk through the narrow picturesque streets of Plaka, the old city, will bring you to a Typical Greek Tavern where you will enjoy your dinner followed by a Greek folk dance show. Alternatively, we can arrange for a romantic dinner at one of our most Authentic Indian Restaurant in the heart of Athens. Namaste! Check-In to Hotel
After breakfast, enjoy the Athens half-day guided city tour. See the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (shortstop). Pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). Visit two of Greece’s UNESCO-listed attractions on this 2-day seat-in-coach tour from Athens to Delphi and Meteora. This morning of the tour, you will be driving up to Meteora, where you will experience the beautiful panoramic views of this unique natural phenomenon and get to know the history of the monasteries and the monastic life of the monks while visiting three of the six monasteries. Post lunch stop, drive back to Athens on the way; you will also visit the battlefield of Thermopylae, where the famous battle of the 300 Spartans took place. Check out of the hotel latest by noon. According to the departure time of your flight, you will be transferred to Athen airport for your return or onward flight back home.
